Since the launch of our Alumni Interview series, we have continuously invited past PMBC (Pre-Master Bootcamp) participants to share their study abroad experiences, reflections on learning, and career planning. In this issue, we invite PMBC participant Lei Zhu to share his journey of growth—from graduating from Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, to working on an overseas project in Egypt, and then pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Lehigh University in the United States.

At a recent Lehigh University Graduate School information session, we had the pleasure of welcoming alumnus Yu Xin, who studied in Lehigh University’s master’s program in Healthcare Systems Engineering. He currently serves as Research Director at the Data Standardization Research Center of Tsinghua University’s Institute for Hospital Management and the National Healthcare Service Data Center at Tsinghua University.

From Admission Counselor to Fortune 500 Strategy Leader: Reimagining Careers Through the Lehigh MBA

My name is Dorothy Chen. I studied Business Administration as an undergraduate before continuing my education in the United States. I enrolled in the Master of Finance program at the University of California, Riverside’s A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. I later became a Senior UX Designer at ByteDance.

This article is based on interviews conducted in May 2022 with three students from the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. They share their experiences with the curriculum, skill development, campus resources, and career preparation.

Hello, I’m Chenxi. I am a student in the Master of Science in Business Analytics program at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where I also serve as an official student ambassador. I entered the Pepperdine MSBA program in Fall 2021. During the application process, I received admission offers from several U.S. universities. I ultimately chose Pepperdine because the program aligned closely with my academic background, career plans, and long-term goals.
