Compared with a direct master's application, the Pre-Master Bootcamp has lower GPA and English score requirements, and it also helps students changing fields build the academic background needed for their target major.

Yes. You may submit your Pre-Master Bootcamp application and begin the program before taking an English test, but you must submit a qualifying English score before receiving your official master's admission offer.

Graduates of certain Sino-foreign cooperative education programs in mainland China may also be eligible for a waiver, subject to the requirements of the partner university.

Most students are required to complete at least three courses. The specific courses depend on each applicant's academic background and the master's program they are applying to.

For example, students applying to a Business Analytics master's program typically need to complete:

No. The Pre-Master Bootcamp is a bridge program between undergraduate and master's-level study, and its curriculum blends undergraduate and graduate content. As a result, Pre-Master Bootcamp grades do not count toward official master's degree credit.

The Pre-Master Bootcamp runs two sessions per year, in spring and fall. Classes are typically scheduled in the early morning or evening (China time) or on weekend daytime slots to minimize conflicts with students' home university schedules. If a genuine scheduling conflict exists, students may request access to recorded lectures after providing supporting documentation.

The curriculum is designed with students' varying academic backgrounds and abilities in mind, following a progressive, step-by-step approach centered on class discussion and applied practice. Students who engage seriously with the coursework and participate actively in class generally find the program manageable.

The Pre-Master Bootcamp uses a holistic evaluation model that includes attendance, class participation, assignments, and quizzes. Based on historical data, 96% of students who engage seriously and participate actively in class successfully pass the program.

Pre-Master Bootcamp seats are directly tied to university admission, so once a session officially begins, refunds are no longer available. Students who withdraw before the session starts, due to special circumstances, may request a partial refund; the applicable refund percentage is specified in the application form.

While enrolled in the Pre-Master Bootcamp, students complete the required application materials through their target university's official online application system. Once the online application is submitted, HYP Global forwards the student's Pre-Master Bootcamp grades to the university. After the university reviews and approves the application, it issues the official master's admission letter. Throughout the program, each Pre-Master Bootcamp student is supported by a dedicated academic advisor who tracks academic progress and admission (offer) status.

If a student is unable to complete all coursework within a given session due to special circumstances, they may apply to complete the remaining coursework in the following session. All such requests are subject to approval by the target university.
