Hi everyone! I’m Sandy, an honors student at the SCU Leavey School of Business, currently finishing my sophomore year and preparing to enter my junior year. During my freshman year, I studied Economics at a university in another U.S. state. Later, after reconsidering my academic interests and future direction, I decided to transfer to Santa Clara University and join the Leavey School of Business, where I now major in Accounting & Information Systems (AIS) and minor in Music.

My name is Bin Jie, and I joined Santa Clara University (SCU) in Spring 2026 as a student in the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program.

Empowered by PMBC: How One International Student Launched Her MSIS Journey at Santa Clara University

Recently, at the Santa Clara University Graduate School event in Shanghai hosted by HYP Global, current SCU student Zoe joined remotely to share her experience. Zoe majored in Finance as an undergraduate and later pursued graduate studies in film production and marketing. She previously worked at Tencent Pictures and Alibaba Pictures and also gained entrepreneurial experience in digital media and educational products.

Since the launch of our Alumni Interview series, we have continuously invited past PMBC (Pre-Master Bootcamp) participants to share their study abroad experiences, major selection stories, and personal growth journeys. In this issue, we invited PMBC student Wang Likai to share his experience transitioning from a Software Engineering degree at Zhejiang University of Technology to pursuing a Master’s in Data Science at Lehigh University in the U.S.

Since the launch of our Alumni Interview series, we have continuously invited past PMBC (Pre-Master Bootcamp) students to share their study abroad experiences, major selections, and thoughts on career development. In this issue, we invite PMBC student Long Keyu to share his learning experience from graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai University to pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) at Lehigh University in the United States.

In this issue, we invite PMBC participant Lei Zhu to share his journey of growth—from graduating from Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, to working on an overseas project in Egypt, and then pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Lehigh University in the United States.

At a recent Lehigh University Graduate School information session, we had the pleasure of welcoming alumnus Yu Xin, who studied in Lehigh University’s master’s program in Healthcare Systems Engineering. He currently serves as Research Director at the Data Standardization Research Center of Tsinghua University’s Institute for Hospital Management and the National Healthcare Service Data Center at Tsinghua University.

My name is Dorothy Chen. I studied Business Administration as an undergraduate before continuing my education in the United States. I enrolled in the Master of Finance program at the University of California, Riverside’s A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. I later became a Senior UX Designer at ByteDance.

They share their experiences with the curriculum, skill development, campus resources, and career preparation.
