Event Recap｜HYP Global’s SCU New Program National Roadshow Across 10 Cities Successfully Concludes: Focusing on Silicon Valley, Empowering the Future

In November 2025, HYP Global partnered with education industry professionals across China to embark on a journey of communication, collaboration, and co-creation. Centered around the new programs of the School of Engineering at Santa Clara University (SCU), trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI), the future of engineering education, and insights for the upcoming application season, HYP Global successfully hosted the “Focus on Silicon Valley · Empowering the Future” series of program launches and themed seminars in 10 major cities across China.

The roadshow traveled through key regions including East China, North China, Central China, South China, and Southwest China, attracting hundreds of education industry partners to participate and exchange ideas.

01 Changsha

The first stop of the summer journey kicked off warmly in Changsha. While enjoying the creative process of making crystal bead crafts, educators exchanged ideas about the new programs and explored potential collaborations.

02 Xi’an

Starting with a relaxing and wellness-inspired theme, the Xi’an event created a comfortable atmosphere for meaningful conversations.

Educators gained deeper insights into the highlights of Santa Clara University’s School of Engineering programs and had face-to-face discussions with the HYP team about future collaboration opportunities, setting the stage for the upcoming stops of the roadshow.

03 Zhengzhou

A summer salon where fragrance met inspiration:

• In-depth sharing of HYP’s U.S. Campus Tour experience

• Insights into international student employment trends for the Class of 2026 and targeted student profile selection

• Crystal candle DIY experience

Participants enjoyed an engaging afternoon of creativity and conversation, gathering new inspiration for the upcoming application season.

04 Shanghai

Despite the summer heat, the Shanghai stop was full of energy and excitement. Nearly 60 educators and industry partners attended the event, with additional participants continuing to sign up even before the opening session began.

Together, we focused on cross-border education, Silicon Valley engineering programs, and employment trends, exploring the intersection between engineering education and the evolving talent demands of global industries. The discussions were dynamic and highly engaging.

05 Guangzhou

The Guangzhou event featured an in-depth introduction to the highlights and application details of Santa Clara University’s premier School of Engineering pathway programs.

Following the presentation, participants created their own personalized healing bottles. Combining rigorous engineering education with fragrance, creativity, and artistic expression, the event offered partners a new perspective on the spirit of Silicon Valley.

06 Shenzhen

The Shenzhen stop combined a relaxed hands-on creative experience with professional training on SCU’s School of Engineering programs, helping educators gain a deeper understanding of the curriculum structure and career advantages.

The event created a warm and engaging environment for meaningful exchanges and future collaboration.

07 Beijing

Teams from North China, Xi’an, and East China gathered in Beijing. Many educators who had previously communicated only online through WeChat finally met face-to-face.

With highly valuable content and energetic discussions, this gathering proved that one meaningful in-person connection can surpass countless online conversations.

08 Chengdu

From discussions on employment advantages and high-salary career pathways at Santa Clara University’s School of Engineering, to insights into AI, innovation, and the future of engineering education, the Chengdu event combined professional knowledge sharing with a relaxing no-flame aromatherapy experience.

The hands-on activity made conversations more natural, comfortable, and meaningful.

09 Wuhan

The Wuhan event covered a wide range of emerging topics. In addition to the launch of Santa Clara University’s School of Engineering programs, participants explored how AI tools can enhance the efficiency of the application process.

Together with the Imperial College AI team, HYP engaged with industry partners to discuss the future landscape of “AI + International Education.”

From Optics Valley to Silicon Valley, this event marked a new beginning for collaboration and innovation.

10 Chongqing

Highlights included:

• Comprehensive insights into SCU School of Engineering career outcomes and the full admission process

• A relaxing no-flame aromatherapy DIY experience, offering participants a moment of calm during the busy application season

• A perfect combination of “fragrance + top university,” receiving enthusiastic feedback from attendees
