2026 — HYP Global today released the results of a follow-up study of alumni from its Pre-Master's Boot Camp (PMBC) program. All respondents have completed PMBC and are now enrolled in graduate programs at U.S. partner universities. The study set out to capture, in alumni's own words, how PMBC has shaped their graduate studies and long-term development after the program.

Validating Long-Term Value, From the Alumni's Own Vantage Point
Unlike HYP Global's prior in-program course evaluations, this study surveyed alumni who now have at least one semester of real graduate-school experience behind them. Every respondent reported that PMBC had a positive effect on their studies, most commonly citing improved ability to adapt to the pace of graduate coursework, complete projects and reports, participate confidently in class discussions, and comprehend academic literature in English.
A Program Alumni Say Was Worth the Investment
When asked whether the value they gained matched their investment of time and effort, 85% of alumni said it matched or exceeded expectations — a strong signal that PMBC's impact continues to pay off well beyond the program itself.
Courses With Staying Power
In open-ended responses, alumni repeatedly named Technical Communications, Algorithms and Data Structures, and foundational math courses as delivering the most lasting value — strengthening academic English communication, computational thinking, and core quantitative skills that carried into their graduate studies. Several alumni also specifically recalled instructors who offered career guidance and study-abroad advice alongside coursework, support they credit with easing their transition to graduate life in the U.S.
