Context: Market Challenges in the 2025–2026 Enrollment Season

The 2025–2026 enrollment season has been a challenging one for U.S. higher education. Broader macroeconomic conditions and policy shifts have created headwinds across the international student recruitment market, with a number of partner institutions experiencing enrollment declines. Against this backdrop, HYP Global's decision to visit partner universities in person reflects both a proactive response to market realities and a firm commitment to the long-term relationships at the heart of its work.

Purpose of the Visit

The visit was organized around three key objectives:

● To engage directly with partner university teams — sharing perspectives on market developments and offering mutual encouragement and support

● To explore opportunities for optimizing recruitment strategies and deepening the scope of existing partnerships

● To conduct on-the-ground research into emerging opportunities in the U.S. domestic education market — including summer programs, local academic preparation and training services, and career support for international students
