Webinar Recap | Lehigh University PMBC Alumni Sharing: Preparing for the U.S. Graduate Learning Experience in Advance

On February 9, 2023, HYP Global successfully hosted a webinar featuring alumni from the Lehigh University PMBC Training Camp. Focusing on the PMBC learning experience, the transition to U.S. graduate-level education, and academic and campus life after enrolling at Lehigh University, the session invited former PMBC participants to share their personal experiences and provide valuable insights for students planning to pursue master’s programs in the United States.

As an important transition program designed to support international students entering the U.S. graduate education system, the PMBC (Pre-Master Bootcamp) Training Camp helps students gain an early understanding of U.S. university teaching methods, adapt to English-based academic environments, and prepare for future graduate studies.

During the webinar, alumni reflected on their experiences in the Lehigh University PMBC Training Camp and shared their real-life perspectives on classroom learning, language adaptation, time management, and campus life after entering U.S. graduate programs.

At the end of the webinar, alumni shared advice for students preparing to apply for U.S. graduate programs.

They emphasized that applying for graduate school involves more than achieving admission. Students should also prepare in advance in areas such as language proficiency, academic skills, and learning approaches.

After entering a U.S. university, students are encouraged to actively utilize available resources, including academic support services, communication opportunities with professors, and campus resources, to continuously improve their learning experience.
